Last week we predicted that Orlaith would not be in the Big Brother house by today. And we were right. Kind of...
After Kemal inexplicably received more votes than Orlaith and was evicted on Friday, Orlaith decided she’d finally come good on her promise, and ducked out the back door on Saturday morning. So now, as we thought, Kinga‘s back in.
So that leaves ix housemates – Makosi, Craig, Anthony, Eugene, Kinga and Derek – and two weeks left. So the big question is: Who’ll win?
Well, Anthony obviously. His odds to win are pointlessly short. So short, in fact, that Betfair.com have opened up a new market – Winner Without Anthony. But today we’ll just focus on the Big Brother winner market…
Craig - What’s that? You want to see genuinely unsettling television
that makes you want to rush out and scrub yourself with wire wool the
second it’s finished? Well keep Craig in, then. The way that he ‘took
care’ of drunk Anthony was horrific, almost bordering on molestation.
"Anthony, you’ve been sick on me but I don’t care. I love you". Craig
won’t win, basically. Current odds – 25/1
Derek – If you ever want a textbook display of turning people
against you, look at Derek’s treatment of Orlaith. Sure, she was
self-absorbed and criminally dull, but Derek’s spiteful behaviour
towards her was entirely unnecessary. He’s lost all the friends he has
in the house except for Eugene, who isn’t really a friend – he just
counts while Derek holds his head underwater. Current odds – 37/2
Makosi – She’s been a favourite since the series began and, although
she’s unlikely to overtake crashing half-wit Anthony as the winner,
she’s got a very good chance of coming second. She’s upset because her
two best friends – the shrieking gonk and the topless moron – left
within a day of each other, but if she holds it together, she stands a
chance. Current odds – 9/1
Eugene or Kinga – Now Orlaith’s gone, Eugene and Kinga still share the ‘Any Other’ category. Eugene is still plodding along, slowly turning into Derek’s henchman (although he gained popularity by stopping the Craig/Anthony dry-humpfest last week). And now Kinga’s back and trying her best to behave herself – but she’s still coming off as fairly appalling and monumentally dim. Current odds – 9/2
Anthony – Look, he’s going to win. But he’s so stupid. Current odds – 6/11
So Anthony’s the red-hot favourite to win Big Brother. But we wouldn’t be surprised if he gets drunk and sleeps with Kinga. Obviously though, this would start off a chain of events that would only end with Craig standing on top of a pile of bodies holding a severed leg in the air.
