Orlaith and Science face Big Brother eviction tonight, and the odds have been turned on their heads since the housemates were announced on Tuesday.
At first, Orlaith was the clear favourite to go. But as the week went on, Science isolated himself more and more from the group. Now it looks like he’ll be leaving tonight.
Here are the latest hecklerspray and Betfair.com odds for the Eighth Eviction…
Orlaith – Orlaith is either very smart or very stupid. If she’s
being stupid, she should stop complaining about wanting to leave the
house and just leave. There are plenty of jumpable walls around the
garden, after all. But if she’s being clever, all the fights she’s had
with Science were started deliberately to make him look bad, and then
by crying so much, she’s winning pity. Clever or stupid, the public are
now on her side. Current odds – 16/7
Science – Science has had a bad week. At times, there has literally
been a queue of housemates waiting to shout at him. By pushing him
outside of the main group, the other housemates have seemed to persuade
the public that Science has to go. Current odds – 3/7
So it looks like Science will go. If you’ve left it this late to
bet, the short odds will make it hard to make too much money from a bet on Science.
Perhaps you’ll have more luck with the eviction percentage market -
betting on the percent of the vote that the evictee will get. here are

For the evictee to get less than 55% of the vote – 7/5
For the evictee to get between 55.01 – 60% of the vote – 35/34
For the evictee to get between 60.01 – 65% of the vote – 35/34
For the evictee to get more than 65.01% of the vote – Evens
