Blueye_7Tonight either Derek or Eugene will leave the Big Brother house. Their eviction will effectively end one of the most freakishly disturbing weeks ever seen on British television.

Since Monday, we’ve seen all kinds of Big Brother weirdness happen. Craig is turning more into the Kathy Bates character from Misery with each passing second. At least he’s regular – one screaming tantrum freakout a night without fail.

Then there’s Kinga, who will let nothing stop her quest to stuff an entire off-license up her front bottom. And Makosi, who disapproves of Kinga’s behaviour despite the fact she’d already boffed Anthony in the swimming pool in front of everyone. And there’s Anthony, who remains a hopelessly dim dancer.

The scary thing is – one of these clots will probably win the £100,000 prize. And either Derek or Eugene won’t. So who will be evicted tonight? Here’s the hecklerspray and Betfair.com rundown on Derek and Eugene…

Eugene – Eugene has mostly remained cool as a cucumber this week,
but his mood was spoiled yesterday when he burst into tears. He blamed
the malfunctioning rodeo task laser targets for his sobbing outburst,
but it’s more likely that he’s feeling the pressure of facing eviction.
Well, either that or he’s realised he lives with a bunch of twats. He’s
had good, strong odds to stay all week; we’re confident that Eugene
will make it to the last week. Current odds – 7/2

Derek – Derek is playing the same trick that he always does when
he’s up for eviction, claiming that he doesn’t care and that he wants
to go and that the other person should stay and that he’s got a
wedding or something to go to anyway so if you could vote him out he’d
appreciate it very much thanks
. But he’s showing his stress in other
ways, like going to sleep when he should be practising for a task. And
don’t forget that he made up a question about John Wayne’s horse to
make himself look smarter. We’re expecting him to go tonight. Current
odds – 6/23

So it looks very much like we’ll be saying farewell to Derek at 9.30
tonight. But his odds are so pitifully lame that you’d need to be a
gazillionaire
to make a decent amount of money from his eviction. A much better
bet would be to try the Eviction Percentage market – you bet on the
amount of votes that the evictee will receive. Here’s how the odds look
right now…

For the evictee to receive less than 55% of the vote10/21

For the evictee to receive between 55.01% and 60% – 9/5

For the evictee to receive between 60.01% and 65% – 3/1

For the evictee to receive more than 65.01% of the vote – 7/1

As always, you’ve got until this evening to get to Betfair.com and
place a bet. If you do, the long silence Davina leaves before saying
the evicted housemate’s name becomes just that little bit less
pointless. Go get betting, you crazy kids.
