Then buzz it up

Big Brother starts tomorrow! And what could be more fun than weighing up the special bets, checking out the odds and getting down to some serious Big Brother betting?
hecklerspray, along with Betfair.com, are going to be bringing you the latest Big Brother odds as they happen, right through to the very last day. That’s 100 days of very special betting information.
And we’re pleased to announce that today we can reveal the very first betting category - the Gender Of The Winner…
There have been five Big Brother winners since the evil scientists invented Big Brother - male, female or somewhere inbetween. Lets start by looking at the male winners:
Craig Phillips - Craig won series one. He swayed over the
audience with his cheeky scouse charm, big muscles and inability to
pronounce the letter ’s’. He showed leadership skills with his ridiculous "Nick, I’m very dishappointed in yourshelf" talk with Nasty Nick,
but managed to look less like a big fool when he gave all his winnings
to a girl who needed a heart and lung transplant. Then he undid the
good work by releasing the worst ever song ever in the world ever -
Christmas single At This Time of Year. Now a professional TV DIY man.
Brian Dowling - Brian won series two. His camp, squeaking,
self-absorbed, Irish puppydog charm worked it’s magic on the voting
audience. After he won, he was the unusual replacement for Ant & Dec on SM:TV, then went on to present a terrible show called Brian’s Boyfriends. He did the voiceover for The Salon and is now on LIVINGtv every second of each day.
Cameron Stout - Cameron won series four. He didn’t drink and
didn’t believe in sex before marriage, which made him stand out from
the drunken, copulating monkeys he was surrounded by. He got sent to
South Africa for a while, and did a little dance there. Avoiding the
traditional ‘media whore’ route, he now quiz show about dialects for
Radio Scotland. Think of something duller than that. You can’t, can you?
Current odds of a male winning - 2/3
And now for the female winners:
Kate Lawler - Kate won series three. Her vaguely attractive
looks and completely male behaviour won the viewers over, and she
became the first female winner of Big Brother. Since winning, she helped drive RI:SE into the ground, helped drive Celebrity Wrestling into the ground and has stood around slack-jawed in a bikini for lad mags for the rest of the time.
Nadia Almada - Nadia won series five. She was born a
Portuguese man, but had an operation that turned her into a shrieking
angry chain-smoking woman. After winning Big Brother, she brought out a godawful single and is trying to bed a load of men on E4’s Fool Around With series.
Current odds of a female winning - 11/9
So, who will win? A boy or a girl? History favours the male, but
it’s hard to tell before we’ve actually seen any of the housemates. It
hasn’t stopped loads of people betting anyway. You can see how the odds
change by looking at the Special Bets section of Betfair.com right away.
