Big Brother Countdown - 53 Hours To Go

Just over 50 hours left until Channel 4 unveil Big Brother 6, and we’re still doing a countdown. A countdown like the teatime gameshow Countdown, only without Carol Vorderman dressed up like a prostitute in a working man’s club.

Yesterday, we learnt that the outside of the Big Brother house is a bit yellow. What amazing news and information have we discovered in the last few hours? Lets find out…

Heat-Seeking Cameras - This year will see heat-seeking cameras for the first time. This means that should any of the Big Brother housemates decide to get jiggy under a cover, they will glow. Just like at the end of that James Bond film. Hopefully, Davina will say "oh, 007" in a disapproving way when this happens.

Pictures Of Inside - Big Brother has released photos of the inside of the Big Brother house. From this, we find that the inside, like the outside, is a bit yellow. And there are cupboards! And chairs! Big Brother, with these slightly rubbish photos you are spoiling us!

13 Contestants - This year will see 13 initial Big Brother
housemates, as opposed to the usual 12. The gimmick is that 13 is an
unlucky number, and one of the contestants will be isolated from the
rest of the Big Brother housemates. Despite the fact that being
separated from 12 preening, self-absorbed idiots sounds brilliant, they
will apparently have "the unluckiest time of their life". We’re not sure exactly what that means, but the reality TV version of Abu Ghraib creeps ever closer.

Video Chat With A Big Brother Housemate - MSN are offering the chance to win a video chat with one of the Big Brother
housemates. You have to download the new version of MSN Messenger and
answer a simple question for a chance to win. If the question isn’t "Why
don’t you do something more constructive with your time, like spending
months building a tiny village out of matchsticks and then smashing it
with your feet, getting off on the feeling of power it gives you? SMASH
SMASH SMASH!", then it should be.

Where are you? - This is day three of our appeal to find Breadhat, the man that logically thought that wearing a hat made out of bread to the Big Brother auditions would get him into the house.
