Got it? Good, but keep up. The Big Brother halfway housemates who didn't become full Big Brother housemates - Jonty, Shanessa and Amy - haven't been sent home yet. Instead, they're still stuck in the Big Brother halfway house with Ziggy, where Amy has fallen in love with Liam, Shanessa has fallen in love with Brian and Jonty's been doing his best impression of a serial killer. Oh, and Shanessa is a proper Big Brother housemate now, so we've got more wonky naked Welshness to look forward to. Yay. And Liam's a Big Brother halfway housemate. We need a lie down.

Amanda - Amanda has regained her crown as the most popular Big Brother female after a period of being outshone by Chanelle. We assume that this was done by default, though, because Amanda hasn't really done all that much in the Big Brother house. Again. There is her burgeoning flirtation with Brian, we suppose. But that isn't so much of a traditional flirtation, more Amanda repeatedly trying to turn Brian down in a succession of polite ways. She's such a spoilsport, because we think Brian and Amanda would be a brilliant Big Brother couple. Well, we think Brian and Amanda would be a good Big Brother couple. Well, we think Brian and Amanda would be an OK Big Brother couple. Oh, OK, we'll admit it - we've bet that Amanda and Brian make even more disgusting sex noises than Ziggy and Chanelle, and we won't get the money if it doesn't happen. Liam - Liam's an intelligent boy, as anyone who witnessed his running body language commentary on Ziggy and Carole's argument last week will have witnessed. And Liam's already going to be walking out of the Big Brother house £100,000 richer. And none of the other Big Brother housemates seem to dislike him at all. But can Liam win Big Brother? Probably not, because the Big Brother audience love a journey and Liam's journey has been nonexistent. He entered the Big Brother house a self-assured Geordie tree surgeon and he'll leave a self-assured Geordie tree surgeon. Perhaps if Liam were to suddenly come out as gay, or find God, or even just grow a beard, people would see it as a journey and be more eager for Liam to win Big Brother. But he isn't, and thank goodness. Because we've got a horrible feeling that someone would want Liam to be the next Vernon Kay if he won Big Brother. And there's already one too many of those. Brian - We're starting to suspect that Brian has a microchip implanted into his brain telling him all the things that'll make him win Big Brother. When he walked into the Big Brother house Brian was the well-meaning thicko, a role he kept until he started to stand up to Charley, at which point he became the plucky underdog. And now, thanks to Amanda, Brian has an unrequited love storyline. This is textbook Big Brother stuff, and we're salivating at the prospect of what comes next - will Brian reveal that he's a transsexual? Will he develop an amusing mental illness? Will he announce that he'd give all of his Big Brother winnings to the local orphanage? Whatever - we don't care because we just want Brian to win Big Brother. And we only want that to happen because it'll increase the chances of him releasing a version of Shaddup You Face as a single. Current Big Brother betting odds - 4/7
