Big Brother Betting Odds: Richard & Jayne Up, Who’ll Win?

Who'd have thought that Nikki would have been so easily replaced on Big Brother? We were starting to get worried that there would be no more Big Brother tantrums without Nikki, but we were wrong. And all it took was a lamb smoothie.

After Glyn was rewarded for the Big Brother walking task with lamb and raspberry pavlova liquidised into a glass, he lost his temper, and so did Spiral. And Jennie. And Michael and Richard are in each other's faces more and more each day. And Pete's turned into a right mardy sod. Starving the Big Brother housemates and stopping them washing has made for a much more entertaining show - just imagine how entertaining it would be if Big Brother had starved them for the whole 13 weeks. Maybe next year… oh, and anyway - Jayne and Richard are up for eviction this week.

Jennie - Like a stealthy panther - or at least a stealthy panther who shouts Jesus songs at the top of its voice at any chance it gets - Jennie is emerging as a real favourite to win Big Brother. And we think we can see why, since Jennie is reasonable without being boring, confident without being obnoxious and clever without being a fucking Mensa member like Michael. The only possible banana skin to Jennie's Big Brother success is the basic rations that the housemates have been given - it means that Jennie doesn't have any cigarettes. Remember what that did to Lisa? It turned her into a flat-out monster, and Jennie is looking like she'll go the same way any minute. Current Big Brother betting odds - 14/1

Glyn - Now that Nikki's gone, Glyn is back in his rightful position - as the second-favourite to win Big Brother. And it looks like we've finally got the old Glyn back: marching around the house like a mental and burning porridge beyond any recognition - this is the Glyn we want to see! The future looks even brighter, though - without Lea and Nikki to project his adolescent sexuality onto, Glyn is slowly turning his horndog charms onto Jennie, who looks alarmingly close to taking the bait. Not that we want to see two 18-year-olds having it off on the TV. Oh no, we've got the Internet for that. Current Big Brother betting odds - 5/1

Pete - When Lea went, everyone thought that Pete would finally come out of his shell again. And he didn't. And then Nikki went and Pete became even more unbelievably boring and mopey and shit. He's not looking like a Big Brother winner at the moment, but perhaps he'll perk up soon enough. Or maybe, just maybe, Pete never went into his shell in the first place and he's just a pointless dumb hippy who hits chairs instead of doing anything of actual worth with his life. Just a thought.
