Big Brother Betting Odds: Two In, Chanelle Out, Gerry To Win?

Yesterday was quite possibly the most exciting day of Big Brother 8 so far, although if a seagull landed in the Big Brother garden and did a trump then that would probably have made it the most exciting day of Big Brother 8 so far too.

But anyway, yesterday was so exciting because Ziggy and Chanelle split up for the millionth time and, after days of promising, Chanelle finally walked out of the Big Brother house. But she wasn't missed for long, because then the Big Brother housemates chose which of the Big Brother halfway housemates would enter the main house. And the new Big Brother housemates are David the tubby camp pagan and Kara-Louise, a woman who our notes inform us is a 'rah rah smiley posho tosser'. So there.

But who's going to win Big Brother? Here's part two of this week's Big Brother betting odds to win - for Carole and Gerry - with help from Paddy Power…

Carole - Of all the possible ways that she could have reacted to the awful sound of Ziggy and Chanelle probably having sex in the Big Brother house - with rage like Charley or by throwing up three times her own bodyweight in projectile vomit like us - Carole instead chose to give a sort of weird Brownie lecture to herself about the importance of wearing a condom. That's Carole at her best - but Carole at her worst is just appalling. If she's not bawling at the other Big Brother housemates because they don't clean up as much as she does then she's doing that weird "I don't want to be your friend any more" shtick that honestly couldn't endear us much less to her. Sadly that's what Carole has been most like in the Big Brother house over the last few days, which is why it can't be long until she's put up for Big Brother eviction again. Gerry - For someone who won't stop banging on about how he's the fourth-best expert on Bronze Age artifacts in the world - or something, we were too busy screaming "SHUT UP!" at our TV as loudly as possible when he was talking to take it in properly - Gerry is becoming increasingly immature. If padding around the Big Brother house holding a stuffed toy like some kind of idiot wasn't bad enough, then bursting into tears when he discovered that Big Brother viewers didn't think he was memorable may have scuppered any hope he had of winning Big Brother. And if that didn't, wittering an imaginary conversation with his mother into a pretend telephone in Greek will have done it. Or throwing a four-hour tantrum just because Charley called him a paedophile. What's our point? It's that Gerry won't win Big Brother if he carries on acting like this, duh.
