Big Brother new boys Seany and Gerry have been hard at work deciding which two Big Brother housemates will get to nominate the others this week – well, not that hard obviously, because they've chosen indecipherable twins San and Amanda.

So this week the evicted Big Brother housemate will have been nominated by Gerry (who is, according to one hecklerspray reader who knows him, a "fucking nightmare") Seany (who is, according to anyone with a pair of eyes, a self-consciously wacky bastard) and twins Sam and Amanda (basically a version of Daphne And Celeste where both of them are the shit one). Which of the Big Brother housemates will be nominated for eviction and, crucially, will any of them manage to go two days without blurting out a bunch of offensively racist epithets that get them chucked out of the Big Brother house before the eviction?

We'll tell you as it happens, but in the meantime here comes today's batch of Big Brother betting odds to win – for Sam, Amanda, Chanelle, Carole and Laura – with help from Paddy Power…

Sam And Amanda – We still need to point out that Sam and Amanda are two separate housemates who can get nominated, voted for and evicted individually but – for the second week running – we wouldn't be able to tell either of them apart if you put a gun to our face. Apparently either Sam or Amanda has a wider head than the other, and one's hair is 0.0034% of a shade lighter than the other's. But since both Sam and Amanda both insist on spending their time in the Big Brother house leaping on sofas and finishing each others' sentences, we're lumping them in together again. According to newspaper reports, Sam is the surlier, moodier Big Brother twin. Or Amanda is. Look, we don't bastard know, alright? Current Big Brother betting odds: Amanda – 14/1, Sam – 12/1

Chanelle – To be honest we're surprised that Chanelle's Big Brother betting odds aren't a whole lot worse than this, on the basis that the girl's a fucking idiot. As if the Victoria Beckham obsession that Chanelle presumably picked up when a deaf tramp with a cataract the size of a cow hoof told her that the two of them don't look like exact opposites of each other, there's also Chanelle's huge desire to be a WAG to contend with. And now, on top of that, there's Chanelle's 'romance' with Ziggy – perhaps the coldest, most precision-engineered attempt to secure post-Big Brother magazine fame in the history of Big Brother. Plus we're willing to wager that the Big Brother tantrum that Chanelle threw about hair straighteners last weekend was nothing more than a transparent attempt to score a Princess Nikki-style show, too. Aside from Ziggy, none of the other Big Brother housemates seem to enjoy Chanelle's company, so expect a bunch of nominations shortly. Current Big Brother betting odds – 10/1

Carole – It's becoming increasingly clear to us that Carole is a bit of a damp squib. For all the lairy screaming in her Big Brother entry tape, screaming that proved even fiftysomething unemployed sexual health workers can have a bit of life in them, Carole's actual time in the Big Brother house has been spent behaving in the exact way a fiftysomething unemployed sexual health worker would. She's had her 'barmy old lady' crown pinched by Lesley, her 'sensible dullard' crown pinched by Nicky and all that's left for Carole to do is to keep ferrying cups of tea around to everyone and keeping on the peripheries of the main Big Brother group. Carole may have been the Big Brother housemate who invented the 'banana of truth', but she might not have been and, anyhow, that was a shit idea in the first place. Laura -Yeah yeah, we know, Laura's lovely and grounded and down-to-earth and everything but, by christ, watching her trying to figure out the basic codes of a normal modern society is like watching a monkey trying to work an abacus sometimes. Laura's contribution to the fallout of the Big Brother racism row was full of cringe-inducing talk about "coloured people" and how she wouldn't mind if someone called her a "white bitch". Obviously this might be the start of some kind of rites of passage for Laura, who'll in time learn not be such a lumbering tosswit, but we'll just have to wait and see. Laura has also come to the fore because she doesn't like Ziggy very much but, well, she's only human. Current Big Brother betting odds – 9/1
