Big Brother Betting Odds: Shabnam Out, Blokes In, Who’ll Win?

Big Brother betting Shabnam Charley Nicky Seany CaroleDue to a lack of Big Brother housemates deciding to suddenly become more racist than Oswald Mosley at the Black & White Minstrel museum, the first Big Brother eviction finally took place on Friday night, with Shabnam coming off worst.

Not that it was a surprise, though; spending 15 minutes watching Shabnam talk on Big Brother Live is like being attacked by a crying baby with a dentist's drill. But, although getting of Shabnam must have seemed like a good idea at the time, now she gets to inflict her own brand of super-annoying 'personality' onto the whole world at large and not just people watching Big Brother. Smart move, dickheads. Friday also saw four new boys enter the Big Brother house – a laddy geezah, a laddy geezah, a laddy geezah and a 49-year-old millionaire. We'll be dealing with those losers in the fullness of time, but first we need to start figuring out who's actually going to win Big Brother.

So here are the Big Brother betting odds to win – for Charley, Nicky, Seany and Carole – with help from Paddy Power

Charley – Christ, just when you couldn't think that Charley couldn't get any more annoying in the Big Brother house, she goes and scores a blinder. A perfect storm of aggravation is building for Charley and it's a joy to watch. Firstly the Big Brother cigarette shortage meant that Charley was already balancing precariously on the edge of a nervous breakdown, and then Seany's revelation that the crowd were chanting "Get Charley out" upon his entrance to the Big Brother house got her back up. Charley is now at the point where the first thing she does in the morning is literally roar at the top of voice like a wounded bear, and it's not going to take a lot to send Charley toppling into the vortex. Hopefully it'll be Chanelle that causes Charley to explode, taking them both out. Seriously, how the hell has Charley escaped being placed up for nomination yet? It doesn't make any sense. Current Big Brother betting odds – 66/1

Nicky – Nicky's popularity in the Big Brother house has plummeted over the last week, and we're not sure why. Sure, all Nicky ever does is stand next to the smoking area with a face like a baby chewing a leaky battery, bitching to anyone who'll listen about how much food the twins are chugging through – but isn't that, you know, sensible? Ultimately we suspect that Nicky has the best interests of the Big Brother housemates at heart, both with food and telling Chanelle to be careful with Ziggy, but the fact that she chooses to express herself by constantly moaning in a particularly irritating way isn't helping her cause. If she'd just unclench a little, the Big Brother audience would go a lot easier on her but, as it is, Nicky's near-oppressive level of bitching is a glowing beacon for nominations. And Nicky's decided to give up smoking, which has historically never been the best way to cheer someone up. Current Big Brother betting odds – 28/1

Seany – We're so backwards and forwards on what we think about Seany it's unbelievable. One minute we're bemoaning the way that Seany was exclusively responsible for Lesley's Big Brother exit and the next we're marvelling at his innate ability to make Gerry cry just by asking people if they've ever seen a horse's cock. Ah screw it, we like Seany. True, his stupefying rant about how he converted to Islam just because of some frilly-minded connection about bombing riled us a little, but so far Seany is the only Big Brother housemate to go into the diary room to ask Big Brother for a space hopper, some ice pops, a remote-controlled robot, a puppy and some coloured elastic bands, and that makes him a winner in our book. Plus he got told off for wearing a top that had the word 'Satan's Piss' written on it. What's not to love? Current Big Brother betting odds – 14/1

Carole – Remember when Carole first walked into the Big Brother house like a scary middle-aged version of Keith from The Prodigy, getting the biggest cheer of the night? "This couldn't possibly last" we thought to ourselves, and it looks like we were right. The middle-aged instincts, combined with her impossibly left-wing compulsion to call a meeting to decide absolutely everything, have meant that everyone in the Big Brother house is already turning against Carole. She does all the housework for the rest of the Big Brother housemates and then gets angry when they don't wash their clothes with the same crackpot zeal that she does. Carole is becoming a major irritant for the Big Brother housemates, and not in an entertaining way, much to the chagrin of the Big Brother viewers. She may have escaped eviction this time, but we have a feeling it'll be rolling around again soon. Current Big Brother betting odds – 22/1
