Tonight, one more Big Brother housemate will be torn out of their comfortable environment and exposed to a world that now strongly dislikes them.

And for the first time this season, the Big Brother eviction is a two-horse race. Previously the likes of Sylvia and Jennifer have been so overwhelmingly unpopular that their eviction has been inevitable. But tonight? Nobody knows - both Rebecca and Mario stand an equal chance of being evicted. For once, both nominated housemates are equally knobbish.

Mario - Mario won’t be evicted from the Big Brother house tonight. He won’t. He’s got a fanclub, for christ’s sake. He’s been on the Ant and Dec. He’s been a magistrate. At least we think he said he’s been a magistrate - to be honest we only catch about a fifth of what Mario actually says. The rest of the time we’re crawling around in front of the TV on our knees with our hands clamped over our ears screaming “Stop! Stop talking you unbearable berk!” Anyway, Mario is the favourite to be evicted from Big Brother tonight, and rightly so, since the man’s face alone is so overwhelmingly offensive that we’d like to cut it off and throw it in the river.
