Big Brother Betting Odds: Last Day! Sam & Amanda To Win?
August 31st, 2007 at 10:30 by Stuart Heritage
The final day of any series of Big Brother always conjures up a mixture of conflicting emotions in its viewers - we've lived with Big Brother for so long that not having it around will be weird, like getting an ovarian cyst removed or something.
This series of Big Brother has been the longest yet, lasting approximately seven calender years from beginning to end. This series of Big Brother has gone on for so long that neither of the Big Brother twins were actually born when it began, and Jonty had yet to learn the dangerous thrill of getting his willy out in front of girls. So make the most of tonight's Big Brother final - and all the badly-judged, super-short eviction interviews that'll go with it - and don't forget that this is your absolute last chance to place a Big Brother bet. After all, it's not as if you're going to give a flying toss about any of the housemates after tonight, is it?
But who'll win Big Brother tonight? Here are the Big Brother betting odds for Sam & Amanda, with help from Paddy Power…
Sam & Amanda - There's a logical explanation as to why Sam and Amanda are the favourites to win Big Brother - they spent long enough as individual Big Brother housemates to build up a core base of fans, who've now formed one giant army of voters now they're being counted as one Big Brother housemate - but there are a million logical reasons why Sam and Amanda shouldn't win Big Brother. Here's a few - 1) Sam and Amanda are going to spend the next year of your life standing tit-to-tit on the cover of downmarket lad mags, at the end of which you're going to hate them. 2) Sam and Amanda have been praised for always being happy in the Big Brother house, but what's so good about that? If everyone was as mindlessly gonkish as Sam and Amanda, Big Brother would have been as interesting as watching a lobotomised Women's Institute meeting. 3) Sam and Amanda can't win Big Brother because neither of them are able to lucidly talk without interruption for more than 0.25 seconds. 4) Amanda is only able to respond to Brian's all-encompassing declarations of love by giggling "you're funny" which is the response we expect from a robot invented by a Bratz doll. 5) What have Sam and Amanda actually done inside the Big Brother house? Unless 'bloating up like an infected insect bite' is a passable reason, we'd love to know. Current Big Brother betting odds - 2/7
Next week - who knows? Something about the Spice Girls, we expect. But don't forget that it's not too late to head right over to the Paddy Power Big Brother betting odds page to see the latest, and best, betting odds… and get a free £10 bet as well!
