Fans of watching grown women belching, shouting and generally acting like a spoilt teenager even they've apparently got a kid and a proper job, get your tissues ready – Jayne looks set to be evicted from Big Brother tonight.

And with the Big Brother eviction of Jayne (or possibly Richard), the Big Brother Week Of Shite will come to an end. Although punishing the Big Brother housemates by stopping the hot water was a smart move, punishing the Big Brother housemates by starving them was a less smart move, and punishing the Big Brother housemates by banning the pool was even more stupid. That's a whole week of watching 11 people in a house, too hot and hungry to actually do anything of interest. Except for Spiral, who is starting to look genuinely terrifying with his tantrums and his useless rapping about bread.

Richard – Smart cookie, Richard. He's been nominated for Big Brother eviction so many times now that he's got his routine down perfectly; look surprised when your name is announced, and then vanish into the background while whoever you're up against goes and has a giant insecure shrieking fit that only helps to draw attention away from you and remind the Big Brother audience to for the loud one. Make the most of Jayne's gratingly loud laugh, the way that Jayne can perfectly pronounce the french word for "sea" in French when she burps, the way that – and we've just noticed this – Jayne looks like a fat Rik Mayall in drag; Jayne is almost certain to be leaving the Big Brother house tonight. Despite being in the Big Brother house for a fraction of the time that everyone else has, Jayne will have notched up plenty of highlights that can be shown in her Best Bits package – we hope she does, anyway, just so that there won't be enough room to show the full-frontal towel drop she did a couple of days ago.
