Big Brother Betting Odds: Gerry Evicted, Ziggy To Win?

Digg this!

Big Brother betting odds Gerry Ziggy Kara-Louise JontyFriday's Big Brother eviction was the most dramatic of the series so far, as four idiots dressed up as beardy clowns basically had to listen to Gerry bang on about how much he wanted to leave the Big Brother house for a few minutes.

That probably wasn't the plan, though – in theory the Big Brother housemates were to be read out the names of the housemates with the most public eviction votes and then burst into all sorts of angry tears as the gurus were told they had to pick the Big Brother housemate who'd get the shove in a move that would tear the Big Brother house to pieces. In the end, when the shock twist was revealed Gerry decided that he should go and Carole should stay and the gurus just acquiesced and everyone got on with business as normal. Except for Gerry, of course, who probably still hasn't shut up about how special and important he is for falling on his sword in such a noble way. The git.

But now that Gerry is out of the Big Brother house, who'll win? Here are the Big Brother betting odds for the eviction of Kara-Louise, Jonty and Ziggy, with help from Paddy Power

Kara-Louise - Well bugger us silly, we were sure that Kara-Louise was going to be evicted from Big Brother on Friday, and in the end she wasn't even in the bottom two. That's possibly because Gerry and Carole spent the entirety of last week arguing over a packet of biscuits like a couple of pikeys arguing over the last can of Stella, leaving no time for Big Brother to highlight any of Kara-Louise's peculiar brand of irritatingness. On the other hand, perhaps Kara-Louise slipped through the Big Brother eviction vote last week because the public are slowly beginning to accept Kara-Louise's weirdly unpredictable emotional response to any situation. Oh, who are we kidding? Hardly any one knows who Kara-Louise actually is, and far fewer care about her enough to either vote for or against her. If Kara-Louise wins Big Brother we'll fall down dead. Current Big Brother betting odds – 250/1

Jonty – It's clear, to us at least, that Jonty is the most polarising figure in the Big Brother house at the moment. You only had to hear the reaction to Jonty's name on Friday's Big Brother to figure that out – what was initially a huge whoop of approval slowly evaporated as members of the Big Brother eviction night mob realised that they were ultimately cheering for a bald 36-year-old spank-happy virgin whose biggest emotional connection in the Big Brother house is with something called Monkity Tunkity. Still, although Jonty is rapidly turning into the best value Big Brother housemate – we'd like to see the twins explain Pascal's Triangle with eyeliner – the sad fact is that he entered the Big Brother house too late to be a serious contender. Now, when Celebrity Love Island comes knocking for Jonty next year, we'll be right behind him. Current Big Brother betting odds – 66/1

Ziggy – Thanks to him inexplicably gaining guru status last week – and in the intelligence task, too – Ziggy's turned into a right little dark horse. Because Ziggy was the first Big Brother guru, he didn't need to show off his fitness like the other Big Brother housemates did, he didn't have to be subjected to the lie detector test and – crucially – since he was up for Big Brother eviction, Ziggy's name wasn't read out to the crowd, so we couldn't see if he was booed or cheered. Because he's such a self-satisfied tosswipe, we'd expect that Ziggy would have got mostly booed, but then again he is a handsome boy with flowing hair, a manly jaw and skin made of the finest pork crackling, so we can't write off the prospect of Ziggy being cheered either. We're happy with Ziggy being a popular Big Brother housemate – which these Big Brother betting odds say he isn't – but please, please, don't let Ziggy win Big Brother. We just couldn't stand the smugness. On the other hand, if Ziggy is going to win Big Brother, can someone let us know? At these betting odds,  a £50 bet would net  us £2,550. Current Big Brother betting odds – 50/1
