It's was a sad sad day in the Big Brother house yesterday – the Big Brother eviction nominations were announced to the housemates for the very last time, but that didn't stop them jumping on Jonty, Kara-Louise and Tracey.

This time next week, Big Brother will be barrelling into its big finale, so – unless a mid-week snap eviction is called – that's it for eviction nominations this year. And what fun they've been – what can we possibly do on Tuesday nights now, instead of watching the Big Brother nomination announcement on Big Brother's Little Brother? Going outside? Talking to people? Not thinking solidly about Big Brother all the time to the extent that every human relationship we've formed since the start of Big Brother turns to ashes in front of our eyes? That's terrifying, we need to be held.

Big Brother eviction betting odds tomorrow, for the double eviction – we did mention it was a Big Brother double eviction, right? – but for now here's the final part of this week's Big Brother betting odds to win, for Brian and Sam and Amanda, with help from Paddy Power…

Brian – Poor old Brian. He had the Big Brother win in the can, right up until moment that Sam and Amanda became one Big Brother unit. Well, that either changed things or Brian's verbalisation of his love for Amanda did. Because, let's face it, Amanda has turned Brian into a huge wimp. Where once the Big Brother house would be full of the sound of Brian slapping himself in the head and bellowing about yogurt-tops, now all that Brian seems to do is skulk around possessively and burst into tears at the drop of a hat. Of course, it doesn't help that Amanda clearly isn't interested in Brian. And it helps less that Brian clearly realises it. Still, he might not be a Big Brother winner any more, but at least Brian is going to be so famous that he'll have his pick of women to get weepy and insecure about when he gets out of the house. Sam & Amanda – Since they were melded into one, Sam and Amanda have gained one giant advantage over the other Big Brother housemates as the Big Brother final looms into view – all the Amanda voters and all the Sam voters have now formed one giant army of slightly demented people who like voting for not very clever scouse girls. Power in numbers never hurt anyone, did it? Also, Sam and Amanda are most likely to win Big Brother as one of the housemates recently said "they're this country's twins," which sort of makes Sam and Amanda the Big Brother Princess Diana. Not completely, of course – she was bulimic and Sam clearly hasn't mastered bulimia past the binge-eating bit. Current Big Brother betting odds – 4/6
