Big Brother Betting Odds: Two Men In, BB Axed For Racism?
Then buzz it up

Aww, Big Brother just isn't Big Brother without shocking outbursts of terrible racism - so imagine how relieved we were when housemate Emily transformed from a dippy upper-class ninny into the most racist human being since Josef Mengele.
A lot has been said about Big Brother's swift dismissal of Emily after she called Charley a "nigger" during a dance on Wednesday - some have said that it's a huge over-reaction to what was at worst a badly-judged joke by a ridiculously out-of-touch spazwit, others have said that you can only judge a racist remark by its reaction. And since the reaction was for Charley to bark "I'm fucking in shock. Fuck me" like some sort of chav Gordon Ramsay, it looked like Emily had to be removed from Big Brother as quickly as possible, ballsing up our planned Big Brother betting odds for tonight's eviction in the process, the inconsiderate bitch. Still, two men in tonight to make up for everything. Woo-hoo.
So instead, since Big Brother is in the middle of the biggest racism row since… ooh, the last one, here are some more Big Brother betting odds for Big Brother to be axed before the end of the series, with help from Paddy Power…
YES - Big Brother is a fairly unique show, in that it can easily be summed up by a series of wildly kneejerking newspaper headlines that sound best shrieked by a bearded man running through the streets partially dressed in tattered rags. Just from Wednesday's incident the headlines have been unequivocal: RACISM OUTRAGE! said The Times, SOCIETY CRUMBLING! said The Telegraph, EYES BLEEDING! MIND… FAILING! said The Daily Express, while the good old Daily Mail just opted for the carefully-considered BLEARRRRRGHURGH! And when Emily decided to shriek like the ill-informed drama student she knows she is, she ran the real risk of setting the whole thing off again. Whichever way you look at it, Big Brother is hanging by a thread and it would take much to finish it off for good. And just because Emily has been thrown out of the Big Brother house, the worst might not be over yet. Current Big Brother betting odds - 11/2
NO - Remember the last Big Brother racism row, with the effigies and the Oxo cubes and the Shilpa Fuckawallas? Remember how cack-handedly that was handled from start to finish? There was a hint of a cover-up, then the perpetrators were allowed to stay in the Big Brother house, then Dermot O'Leary and Russell Brand decided to host their Big Brother spin-off shows in the mumblingest, most ashen-faced way imaginable, and then Davina McCall topped everything off with a series of genuinely inept exit interviews. Short of having a special Big Brother Ku Klux Klan-themed eviction, it's hard to see how it could have gone any worse. Compare that with this time - a borderline-unbearable girl said one stupid thing in the mistaken belief that it wasn't offensive and she was dispatched with ruthless efficiency. If Big Brother managed to survive last time, it's got no chance of being axed for this. Now, next week when Lesley reels out her 'Rivers Of Blood' speech, then we'll talk again. Current Big Brother betting odds - 1/12
Next week - Happy Big Brother betting odds to win again. But if that's too long to wait - or you feel like making more money than you know what to do with - head right over to the Paddy Power Big Brother betting odds page to see the latest, and best, betting odds… and get a free £10 bet as well!
