Big Brother Betting Odds: Another Nikki Strop, Who’ll Win?
So, the Big Brother story so far… Nikki, Glyn, Imogen, Lisa and Lea all discussed nominations and were punished by nomination one of their group for Big Brother eviction on Friday. And they chose Nikki. How do you think she handled it?
In a sensible, mature, grown-up way after realising that Big Brother was a game and she was being punished for breaking one of the fundamental rules? Of course not – Nikki reacted to the Big Brother nomination by crying, screaming, crying some more and threatening to quit Big Brother, obviously. Nikki's Big Brother housemates have talked her down from the ledge for now, but Friday's a long way off, especially when you have a brain about three atoms big. In case you were wondering, Nikki's up for eviction against Imogen, Mikey and Lisa.
Big Brother eviction betting odds, but today let's wrap up the Big Brother betting odds to win, for Nikki, Glyn and Pete, with betting odds from PaddyPower.com…
Nikki - Let's get this clear; watching Nikki throw a borderline paranoid schizophrenic tantrum because someone drank her beer isn't comedy, it's an intrusion of your precious brainspace, especially since Nikki isn't entirely innocent of booze-stealing herself. She's a 24-year-old woman, for Christ's sake. If she was a kid, she'd be locked in a cupboard for a few days. If she was a household animal, she'd be put in a plastic bag with some rocks and thrown in the river. But no. She's on the telly, so suddenly she's entertaining. Everything in Nikki's world is judged purely on how much other people like Nikki, and it's doing our head in. However, Nikki has been nominated for Big Brother eviction for three weeks on the trot now, and if she survives this week, she'll be nominated again before long, so it's a matter of time before she goes. Current Big Brother betting odds – 9/1
Glyn - In the month that he's been in the Big Brother house, Glyn has blossomed from the near-silent geek who was nominated for Big Brother eviction in the first week into a strutting, constantly-horny peacock who might just be starting to believe his own hype. Getting an erection during the horrific lapdance that Lea gave him was sort of endearing – surely no man can be so desperately inexperienced that something that harrowing could be arousing – but now, after kissing a couple of girls and being told he was "sweet" a few times, Glyn is now offering to have sex with Lea and planning on streaking around the Big Brother house. He's still a Big Brother favourite, but maybe a nomination or two would kick some humility into him. Current Big Brother betting odds – 9/4
Pete – Surprise, surprise, Pete's still the favourite to win Big Brother. And, despite this, he's starting to show signs of cracking under the pressure. Pete's fallen out with Lisa because she wiped her ear on his dressing gown. Pete's fallen out with Lea because the thought of having sex with her visibly repulses him. Pete's fallen out with Mikey and Imogen because Grace threw water over Susie. And – worst of all – Pete getting close to Nikki means that his closest Big Brother comrade is a gigantic tosser. None of these are necessarily bad things, but that slightly self-conscious laugh that Pete does when he's faced with any confrontation makes us want to slap his stupid hippy face. Current Big Brother betting odds – 8/13
