Veteran actress Barbara Hershey has had a pretty damn sweet career. Get it? Hershey? Chocolate? Sweet? Pretty sure we’re not the first to make this connection.
Known for roundly solid performances in popular films like The Natural, Hoosiers and Beaches, Ms. Hershey also has some, um, unusual moments in her background.
These spectacularly odd anomalies include changing her stage name to Barbara Seagull for a brief period in the 1970’s. She also recreated sex scenes from a movie she starred in with David Carradine, as part of a nude pictorial the couple did together for Playboy.
She also breast-fed her baby on a live television broadcast of The Dick Cavett Show and named said baby boy Free. The child later changed his name to Tom when he was nine.
Here she is looking all perfect and cute in Last Summer. Ah, it’s so good to be young.

Hershey has done nudity in several films and her greatest achievement so far has to be Boxcar Bertha. She’s incredibly hot in the film and there are some great scenes with the camera panning out to show her naked body in full.
But if you’re looking for full frontal bush fun, you’ll have to look at The Entity and Love Comes Quietly. The Entity in particular is a pretty spooky horror film and you’ll see Hershey get molested and groped by an invisible ghost, sorta like what happened to Rhona Mitra in Hollow Man.
