		<description>Rods are nothing more than insects traveling close to the camera lens (the closer, the faster they appear).  They are out of focus, and the CCD chip inside these digital cameras try to decypher the fuzzy dot as best as it can to &#039;digitize&#039; the image, and we get the opposing flaps on a moving line.  I have no proof to back this up, and when I have some time, (perhaps this summer) I&#039;ll do my best to debunk the rod phenomena, but for now, just my humble opinion.</description>
