What's your worst day? Was it a big test at school? A bad breakup? The day you got sentenced to 60 days in the county lock up for a perverted form of loitering? Yeah, all those are bad, but compared to the day a small German town had not too long ago, they're all a walk in the park.

Their bad day included using a squeegee to push a massive flood of soupy pig dung off their living room carpets.

Picture it: You're sitting in an outdoor cafe in the delightful German village of Elsa, lazily sipping your morning gigantic jug of German beer, and suddenly you're thigh deep in pig diarrhea. It stinks, it's colored weird, and it's a foot and a half high. If you're not into that sort of thing, it's disgusting.

But that's exactly what happened in Elsa a few months back. A big tank carrying the pig stink (it was destined to be a crop covering) suddenly burst, and the brownish - greenish wave went tearing towards the village. The container had been carrying 240,000 litres of the liquified excrement. Police spokesman Rainer Prediger said:

"The village was swamped with green-brown liquid - the mother of all muck.  It was not very pleasant for the villagers."

An understatement if ever we heard one. The filth got up to 1.6' deep - waist high for a toddler. 

The stink-ridden milkshake from hell gushed down main street, into the bottom floors of many homes, and caused an estimated $119,000 in damages.  

We've heard that later that week, the village threw out a mountain of sticky wet-vacs. We'd have probably done the same. Wading in the fecal is usually very Off-Putting, so that's where we'll keep it.
