This week: Ufology/Aliens
It would seem all Mexicans are paranormal prone and constantly armed with video cameras, because we're going back to that dusty country this week with another mysterious film recorded down there. This one appears to have been filmed by an arm of the Mexican military. It's a film of 11 unidentified flying objects, released to the public in an unprecedented governmental move.
And we have the clip for you here, doncha know.
Not too long ago we brought you crazy paranormal news from Mexico in the form of actual video of a 'flying witch'. That video was filmed by some regular guy (or girl) with a camera. Today's video on the other hand, was filmed by the Mexican Air Force.
More specifically it was filmed by a military crew on board an airplane for the purpose of intercepting drug traffickers. The crew was familiar with their route as they'd done it many times before. Not to say the entire flight was routine, mind you, because at about 17:00 hours they noticed they were being followed by 11 balls of light. Actually, there's a bit more to it – according to Rense.com:
"The routine flight took place between Copalar, Chiapas and the State of Campeche. The encounter took place near Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. It was there that the aircraft, belonging to the 501st Air Squadron was performing its routine patrol when it suddenly detected the presence of an object on its radar at an elevation of 3500 meters, as well as through its infrared equipment (FLIR).
The airplane immediately pursued the object, which according to the video footage, lost itself in the clouds. Minutes later, the presence of other objects — for a total of 11 — was detected. They followed the aircraft and surrounded it."
Direct visual contact with the unknown craft was never made by anyone in the airplane. The available recording seems to have been filmed with something called FLIR gear, which is a type of infrared imaging equipment. It looks like regular video footage.
There have (of course) been debunkers of the video, and they've wasted no time in explaining things away. Some have claimed that just like the Phoenix lights – the orbs are nothing more than flares.
So are the strange lights alien ships? Are they flying sun-spots? We have no idea – but its a fine conversation piece none-the-less.

Guys,
check your story before publishing, this has been debunked a long time ago. These lights are from an oil rig far away from the spot they are filmed. They are burn off of gas, and under some atmospherical conditions, these can be seen (in IR) from very far away. When you put a picture of the flames (gas burnoff from the oilrig) over the “orbs”, you’ll see that they match up exatcly.

Dear Shawn,
Let get something strieght with your readers. Mexico and now South America has been in a UFO flap for 20 years. That is why you find the Mexicon people have cameras
and Video taking pictures. Not only have they been witnessed and videoed during politicians speaking and newscrews on assignment but by pilots over airfields and thousands of people. Don’t you think that is kind of weird as far as the meida goes. One jounalist on TV to prove something was going on and send him the videos he recieved 23000 videos. Many of them done by groups of people and Police. But none of this is mentioned in America. Why because it just Mexico. Faked impossible since the displays were filmed by many groups of people in different parts of the city. Finally if you want to prove to yourself UFOs are craft go to my blog non commerical blog and read my lastes post on what the Army found in Brazil. UFOmedia.blogspot.com

Hardly ‘debunked’. I have heard the oil rig theory, and that’s about all it is. If you watch the entire video filmed by the Mexican AF, you will see some of these things going in very close to the ground, in totally different shots, over the city”. The oil rig suggestion might work on the sequence in the clouds, but even still, I feel that would be a lucky shot if anything. I have never seen the oil rings overlayed with the objects in this video. If anyone has a picture or graph, please post it here, because outside of that, it’s just a bunch of talk to me.

Yeah, most definitely its those pesky flying, vanishing, altitude changing oil rigs.
Yup.
Please dont speak nonsense like its a fact…

(9-2-07) – [Levelock, AK] this is very cool! my friend and i had seen one tonight. but it wasn’t exactly shaped as the ones that are in the video. it was shaped differently, kind of like an eyeball shape. the colors were bright orange with yellow in the middle. we were out riding with my four-wheeler. i looked up and happened to see this flying object fading away very slowly, below the airport. we rode up to the airport and seen nothing. but as soon as we were heading back home, it was forming back really slowly..it was getting closer, and closer, brighter and brighter each minute. i was going “full throttle”, and it was catching up very quickly. yeah i was pretty scared…but my friend was laughing her @$$ off.

This is great! To all you people who watched the video and think this is still fake.
Look at the video again and watch when the film gets little darker in some scene, you gone see a pulsing in the middle of the light, that suggests some kind of electro magnetism going on around the craft.
Now if you still don’t believe it look at the Nasa video and compare the pulsing in the middle of the craft.
Good stuff.
