Anna Nicole Smith Buried Bahamas Virgie Arthur Appeal OverturnedBad news: the never-ending around the clock coverage of every single microscopic incident to have happened to Anna Nicole Smith since she died might be coming to an end shortly – it looks like everything's been cleared for her burial tomorrow.

Despite Anna Nicole Smith's estranged mother Virgie Arthur doing her damnedest to string out the battle for Anna Nicole Smith's body for so long that all that'd be left of her at the end were some flies buzzing round a sticky puddle, her appeal against the decision to have Anna Nicole Smith buried in the Bahamas has been overturned. Now everything is set for Anna Nicole Smith to be buried in the Bahamian plot next to her son as early as 10:30 tomorrow morning. Then, and only then, will the public slowly begin the natural coping process that comes with reading news that isn't about Anna Nicole Smith all the effing time.

The initial shock over Anna Nicole Smith's sudden death last month has largely been replaced with all kinds of different feelings. Some people are bemused as to why so much fuss is being made about a woman who reportedly underfed her new-born baby on purpose to 'keep her sexy'. Other people are excited, hoping that their Anna Nicole Smith betting pays out. Some have been angry at the tawdry way in which different parties have been fighting over Anna Nicole Smith's body, but the majority of us have just been trying to second-guess whether Anna Nicole Smith or James Brown will get buried first.

The good news is that – thanks to James Brown's DNA kerfuffle – it looks like Anna Nicole Smith might just shade it if the plans for her to be buried tomorrow morning go ahead without a hitch. You'll remember the details of the Anna Nicole Smith body-battle, of course – Anna Nicole's apparent boyfriend Howard K Stern wanted Anna Nicole Smith to be buried in the Bahamas and – when Boo-Hoo Judge McCrybaby ruled in his favour – Anna Nicole Smith's mother Virgie Arthur launched an appeal because she wanted her daughter buried in Texas. But, as CNN reports, the appeal has been swiftly nipped in the bud:

A Florida appeals court cleared the way Wednesday for Anna Nicole Smith to be buried next to her son, Daniel, in the Bahamas. After the panel ruled Wednesday, one of the attorneys for Virgie Arthur, Smith's mother, told CNN there were no plans to appeal to the Florida Supreme Court, clearing the way for Smith's burial to take place. The decision by a panel of three judges with the 4th District Court of Appeal upheld a lower court ruling that gave custody of Anna Nicole Smith's remains to the court-appointed guardian for her daughter, Dannielynn… Milstein intends to have Smith buried next to her son, Daniel. The late model purchased the adjacent Bahamas burial plot after Daniel, 20, died in September, three days after Dannielynn's birth.

So that's it, more or less. All being well Anna Nicole Smith will be buried tomorrow in a small private funeral attended by around 30 people, to be followed later with a 300-person memorial service for Anna Nicole Smith that will apparently contain music by a secret famous singer. Let's hope that Anna Nicole Smith funeral is as quiet and dignified as possible, and that all the members of the congregation aren't going to paint their faces like nightmarish clowns, roll about on a bed with a government official and act all clueless as a tribute, because we're sort of expecting that they will.
