When Swedish-born beauty Ann-Margret auditioned for George Burns, he knew he struck the mother lode. Hired on the spot, she sang and swiveled alongside him for ten shows, launching her career.

Days after Elvis said I do, Ann-Margret married actor Roger Smith. Post wedding night, she high-tailed it back to her parents, but new hubby followed and managed to coax her home. They’ve been happily married ever since.
