Known for her hit show “Inside Amy Schumer,” she wasn’t “The Last Comic Standing” on that NBC show in 2007, and later thumbed her nose at her #4 position by snagging a 2015 Emmy.
Born on June 1, 1981, in Manhattan to parents in the furniture business, Amy’s early life was defined by both her father’s success and a catastrophic illness that destroyed her family.
