Blindness is a nice refreshment in the niche of apocalyptic movies. Plot is intriguing, characters are well developed. We see how people can turn into the different persons in special situations.

the federation obviously dont realise the simple fact that the movie doesnt portray ‘blind people’, it portrays the strugle of people who could previously see until very recently. very different.

Never saw the movie, but the book it’s really respected out there. It’s from the Nobel Prize winner JosÃ© Saramago, and I doubt that he thinks of blind people as less than anyone else. Don’t know about the movie, though…
