ADVANCE WARNING: Redesign Imminent
Hello all, this is your editor speaking.
Just a quick heads-up to the fact that there won’t be any hecklerspray on Monday or Tuesday. This is because the mythic, often started but never completed site redesign that’s been about two and a half years in the making will be taking place.
Relax, it’ll still be the same hecklerspray that you know and tolerate. A little whiter, maybe, and slightly nicer to look at. Plus the iPod in the top-right corner that started as a brave new symbol of the future but now looks so dated that it may as well have a sodding perm on it will be gone as well. Make the most of it while you can.
Obviously, due to the law stating that everything hecklerspray tries will end up being a gigantic miserable failure, there may be a few kinks to iron out on Wednesday. But one step at a time, eh?
Have I got time for the baitch-off that I understand I have committed myself to?
i’m scared of change
It always bothered me that the site had an XML logo, but if you clicked it, it failed the XML test.
I hate it already, I’ve started a Facebook group to express my disgust, hopefully the BBC will write a news story about and it’ll get in the top five most-read list, in between ‘Donkey filmed eating crisps’ and ‘Big Brother star arrested’.
Only kidding, I’m sure it’ll be lovely. I’d never even noticed that iPod till you mentioned it.

facebook, cracked, now hecklerspray!? i’m starting a protest group and updating my status to “just say no to the new hecklerspray!” not really, but now that you mention it, that is a horrible perm.
Is it bad that the iPod picture on the current site is a more recent model than the one I use?
