It’s the last day of our look at the ups and downs of celebrity engagements, marriages and divorces in 2006 – and if you haven’t placed a bet yet, today’s the day to do it.

Because today we’ll be probing the personal life betting odds of five of the most important people in the country today -  people who have a very distinct effect on your day-to-day lives. That’s right: Tony Blair, Cherie Booth, David Blunkett, Peter Andre and Jordan.

Here are the last set of 2006 relationships betting odds, with help from SportingOdds.com

Tony Blair and Cherie Booth to get divorced – People are predicting
a tough year ahead for Tony Blair (Actually we don’t know that for
sure, but it sounds like something that people would say), and they’re
just talking professionally. What are the odds of Tony or Cherie Blair
waking up one morning, looking at each other and realising that they
can’t spend another minute being married to someone with such a great
big wonky mouth/a funny voice and a bleak political future? They’re
long odds, we’ll grant you that. Current divorce odds – 100/1

David Blunkett to get engaged to anyone - For a beardy git, David
Blunkett knows how to wade his ways through the ladies. He doesn’t care
if they’re married or young enough to be his daughter – if he can get
his ID card-loving hands on their bazookas, then that’s just what he’ll
do. But engaged? Within a year? With anyone? The odds aren’t certain.
Current engagement odds – 7/1

Jordan and Peter Andre to get divorced – We can’t make our minds up
about Peter Andre and Jordan. They met on a TV show, got married on a
TV show and seem to spend most of their time belittling each other on
TV shows. The cynic could argue that Jordan is only with Peter because
he can give her a leg up with her singing career, but that argument is
easily shot down by pointing out that Peter Andre isn’t exactly Frank
Sinatra
. Will Jordan and Peter Andre divorce this year? We think that
if their dreadful Disney duet single does well they’ll stay together -
but if it bombs, it might push the divorce a little closer. Current
divorce odds – 10/1

That’s it – no more 2006 relationship betting odds from us, but
don’t forget that you can go and bet on this – or any of the other
staggering betting markets (and consistently excellent odds) over at
SportingOdds.com.
