Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards were one of the golden examples of what a celebrity couple should be. Then they weren’t. Then they were again. And now they’re not. Definitely not.
After their marriage broke up last year, Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards tried to get back together to make things work out. But they buggered it up, and now they’re divorcing. Properly divorcing. Forever. Probably.
Lately, Charlie Sheen (DVDs) and Denise Richards have been most famous for
their on-off marriage. Certainly more famous for that than their acting
careers – Charlie currently stars in Two And A Half Men, the
not-even-as-good-as-Joey US sitcom, and Denise is probably most famous
for being the least memorable Bond girl in history.
Last Spring, while Richards was seven months , Charlie Sheen
and Denise Richards announced that they were divorcing. No reason
was given on the nature of the split, except for Charlie admitting on TV that
he had been behaving like "a gigantic ass."
But since then, things looked to have been shaping up a bit better
for Charlie, Denise and their two kids. Charlie appeared on TV sporting
his wedding ring and saying positive things about reconciliation, like
"We’re not ruling anything out."
It looks like Denise hadn’t ruled out divorce either. Her rep has stated that:
"Denise is moving forward with divorce proceedings."
According to People:
On Wednesday, lawyers for both Sheen and Richards asked that the case
be removed from Los Angeles County Superior Court and handed over to a
private arbiter, retired commissioner Jill Robbins.
What exactly does that mean? It means it’s all off, baby. For now, at least.
