What a crazy old time the cast of Lost are having.
Not only do they have to stand around a beach all day taking part in slickly-choreographed fist-fights, but it now seems that some of the general oddness of Lost is seeping into their everyday lives like some spooky alternative reality. Or something.
Firstly – earlier this year – Lost actor Josh Holloway (long-haired conman-type Sawyer) was held up at gunpoint in his very own home.
And now? Now two other stars of Lost have only gone and got themselves arrested for drink-driving.
Haven’t they seen that advert where that lady smashes herself into a bar?
In a bizarre coincidence reminiscent of Lost – except it probably didn’t involve Locke standing around saying something cryptic and then killing an animal – the booze-fuelled antics have actually been revealed as being two separate incidents.
Michelle Rodriguez (DVDs) and Cynthia Watros – both of whom have yet to make their Lost debut here in the drizzly United Kingdom – were both stopped within fifteen minutes of each other as they veered and swerved down the same road in Hawaii.
They were both breathalysed and then carted off to the nearest police station, whereupon they were charged, released on bail and ordered to get their pretty asses to court on December 29th.
No statement has been released through official channels so we can only speculate as to what actually happened that night – perhaps the girls had been drinking together, feeling the need to go on a mutual bender after another day on set in which a Korean lady argued with her husband and a fat man tried to be amusing.
Incidentally, Michelle Rodriguez also appeared in the Fast And The Furious. As we’re sure you’re aware by now, hecklerspray is far too principled and mature to make such a cheap obvious gag out of such a difficult situation.
So we’ll just laugh at her for appearing in Resident Evil instead.
